AMARAS

Amaras is a collection designed and constructed by Ariana Nazarian, inspired by traditional Armenian craftsmanship. The motifs in this collection draw from hand-done crochet patterns and traditional wood carvings, with color combinations often seen in an Armenian daraz, or costume. Amaras evolved through the blending of contrasting techniques: delicate hand beading and crochet work passed down from my grandmothers, paired with bold stenciling. The result is an eveningwear collection that embodies strength, tradition, and perseverance, seamlessly merging heritage with modern design.
